Alaska regulations require food workers to obtain a Food Worker Card within 30 days of employment.

Food Workers in the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA): The MOA issues their own nutrient worker cards. Cards issued by the State of Alaska are non valid in the Municipality of Anchorage. Nutrient workers who would would like to take their exam in other languages (Spanish, Korean, Chinese Standard mandarin, Tagalog, and Vietnamese) are encouraged to become a MOA food worker card. MOA cards are valid in Dec regulated facilities.

Getting an Alaska Food Worker Bill of fare Online

  1. Go to the Dec Food Safety and Sanitation food page and review the Food Worker Card training materials available there.
  2. Go to the Alaska Food Worker Card online testing site and select "Accept a do test."

Have the exam
